Description |
Cornhusker found in the collection of the Littleton Musuem. The cornhusker is made of one piece of leather. The bottom end is cut wider and folded in threes. It is held together with 18 rivets. The rivets extend to the outer surface . On the opposite end is a leather strap with a steel buckle. The user inserts the thumb into the husker and uses the strap to hold it in place. The corn is husked by rubbing the riveted side over the corn ear. |
