"Bank of Littleton Subscription Agreement"; 6 sheets of off-white paper taped together to form one long sheet; on "The Bank Of Littleton" letterhead paper, with black ink handwriting; agreement by the undersigned to "subscribe" various amounts of money to the Bank of Littleton, to act as the agent in purchasing 35 acres of land from the State of Colorado to secure the Leyner Company's move to Littleton and subsequent building of the factory here; signed by many notable early Littleton citizens (see Notes); dated October 9, 1902; agreement was prompted by the prospect of the George Leyner Machine Company moving to Littleton; monies donated range from $5 - $125; back side is blank. |
