No. 3 Folding Pocket Kodak Model C-5; serial number 53386-B; dark brown textured hard rectangular case; opens to expanding bellows camera; black leather case; Patent date of Sept. 9, 1902. From the exhibit "The Littleton Story in 125 Objects": Kodak produced the No. 3 Folding Pocket Camera Model C-5 from 1900 to 1915. Using film size 118, the camera would take 12 images, 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches each. Edwin Bemis and sister, Ella, opened a stationery store on Main Street, where they sold books, cameras, and photographic supplies. The original price for one of these cameras was $68. Bemis took thousands of photographs throughout the years, which form the core of the Littleton Museum's photographic collection. |
