Autograph album, bound in red with gold outlined color illustrations on front, one of little girl with doll and one of a rabbit; interior pages off-white with black ink handwritten autographs, from people in Littleton, Wynetka, and Denver, dated between December 1888 and February 1894; includes autographs from: May Cozens, Bessie Crocker, M.E. Eagleton, Mrs. Ida A. Eagleton, Nettie Hodgson, Harvey Markle, and Orian Shepperd, amongst others. From the exhibit "The Littleton Story in 125 Objects": Edwin Bemis, who collected items for the Littleton Historical Society was given this album in 1954. The album belonged to Gertrude Hill Bates as a child. The pages contain several signatures of Littleton girls, including May Cozens, Bessie Crocker, M.E. & Ida Eagleton, Nettie Hodgson, Harvey Markle, and Orian Shepperd. |
