Description |
Sculpture; Untitled cast sculpture of a figure in a prayer pose by artist George Stanescu, date unknown. Sculpture is green in color, slightly marbled texture, tall in shape, brown wooden base. Sculpture is of a tall, slim figure wearing a hood, coat, and long skirt with their feet visible at the bottom. The figure is in a prayer position, their head is slightly bowed forward and their arms are bent at the elbow with their fingertips touching and forming prayer hands. There is an artist signature scratched into the surface on the back of the figure's skirt that reads, "Stanescu." The sculpture is attached to a wooden, circular, base. |
