Goddard, Dated: May 7, 1867; white rectangular blue-lined or ruled paper, folded in half vertically and twice horizontally; embossed profile image of colonial man, possibly George Washington; black ink handwritten text; states that Goddard is of good character and business ability, & has successfully completed the study of business and book-keeping at the institution, and commends him as an upright, industrious and intelligent person; stored in a small yellow envelope, with "Presented by Susan Goddard" handwritten in green ink. |
