"This is Littleton Colorado Map and Street Guide"; rectangular off-white folded paper map with black & green printing; illustrated image on map front of man in denim and shirt leaning on mailbox, overlooking fields, with city and mountains in distance; "Published Annually by Littleton Chamber of Commerce" near bottom, with "1958" handwritten in ink; contains mpas, "The Story of Littleton", and lists local features such as the 1958 Centennial Race Track racing season, and Highway 85 (Santa Fe). From the exhibit "The Story of Littleton in 125 Objects": The Littleton Chamber of Commerce produced this Littleton Map and Street Guide in 1958. Western imagery and activities were popular in Littleton's boosterism of the time. |
