Object Name Door
Description Door; wood, tall rectangular door painted yellow on outside and green on inside; long rectangular pane of glass with "Barber Shop" painted in gold with black shadows; bottom of door has two rectangular panels set side-by-side; ornate metal door handle and escutcheon, keyhole in shield shape above door handle; inside of door has same pattern handle and escutcheon, also has deadbolt lock above door handle; has three metal door hinges, mounted opposite of door handle.

From the exhibit "The Littleton Story in 125 Objects": The barber shop was often the information hub of any community. During 1972, the Museum acquired many artifacts to recreate a typical barber shop, representative of Littleton at the turn of the 20th century.
