From the exhibit "The Story of Littleton in 125 Objects": Used by one of Littleton's mail carriers, Billy Calhoun, to cover the area along both sides of South Santa Fe Drive from where Arapahoe Community College is now. A local dog named "Old Blue" would tag along for his entire route, meeting him on South Curtice Street and keeping all other dogs away. Calhoun preferred the bicycle to a Jeep given to him later, calling the bike "the most dependable transportation he had ever had."
