Object Name Toy, Airplane
Description Metal, gray w/ blue decoration (Pioneer Air Express w/ profile of Indian, P.A.E. on rudder, windows showing passengers & pilot), & 2 red, white, & blue Indian profiles on wings. Blue wheel beneath rudder, 2 @ front attached to eachother w/ metal rod, which also has a gear wheel attached, & a red & blue propeller. Wings can be removed (one piece). Period: c. 1925 - 1935

From the exhibit "The Story of Littleton in 125 Objects": Donated by Edwin A. Bemis, Jr., he may have played with this toy as a child in Littleton. The Marx Toy Company made these pull toy aiplanes c.1930 to c.1940.
