According to the donor, these shoes are part of a full dress suit, with intricate and elegant beadwork, belonging to Mrs. Charlie Bowles (Adelaide Nell Bowles). The set was believed to have been purchased around 1895 for Mrs. Bowles' trousseau. See related dress, GENL-1977.034.0002.
